Why do people oppose spreading the wealth around when the plutocrats obviously didn’t make it all?
Question by Matthew D Rises: Why do people oppose spreading the wealth around when the plutocrats obviously didn’t make it all?
1% of the population owns 40% of the wealth. The next 19% owns another 53%. The bottom 80% of the population owns just 7%.
Total household wealth in the US is $ 55 trillion dollars. 1% of the population clearly did not create 40% of that, nor did 20% create 93% of it. It largely came into their possession.
So how can anyone oppose spreading the wealth around when its obvious that those who control all of the wealth currently didn’t create it?

Answer by GOP killed my shovel ready job
We have a mainstream media with a corporate CONSERVATIVE bias. That is why they didn’t cover the Occupy protests, they don’t talk about income inequality, they don’t say the word “poor”, they don’t call Republicans out on their obvious economic lies (tax cuts for the rich creating jobs, etc)
