What is the best way to market Wealth management to small businesses?
Question by slayer: What is the best way to market Wealth management to small businesses?
Currently, I work as the marketing sales person for a small wealth managemnt firm in the NorthEast. My superior wants me to stop prospecting homeowners, and approach small business owners. Would a letter followed up by a cold call do it, should I physically walk in each business? What to write is also a questionmark here.

The problem you have is the Small Business is always owned by a small business owner. The Key is the owner. Your going to need a good niche list that focus’s your efforts on the 40+ year old owners that have some disposable income and that are concerned about their nest eggs. I think your best plan is to get a good list and use social media to leverage the list…DO NOT EMAIL …think Face Book and Twitter..Depending on your community area I would also consider your Local Rotary clubs as excellent intro platforms!
