An MLM pyramid scheme may give the appearance as a way to make a lot of money, but it just looks like a scam and something illegal. If you get mixed up in the wrong thing you will most likely lose money in the deal and be completely turned off to and any real opportunity that might present itself at a later time. A real MLM opportunity is a viable and real way in which you can earn a lot of money.

A legal MLM opportunity allows you to earn a commission on the personal sales that you make of products as well as the sales made by your team which looks like a pyramid. It can be very confusing if you are not familiar with the industry because it takes the form of a pyramid structure. Our inherent instincts that we were taught says that it is a scam if it looks like a pyramid.

A great way to look at the pyramid structure is to compare it to the corporate world You have the CEO at the top making all the money. You then have Vice Presidents below him who make slightly less. That trend will continue all the way down to the secretaries and those that earn the least amount. The person higher up will make more than the person at the better. This is a pyramid.

In MLM anyone no matter where they are in that pyramid can earn more than the person above them. Although you might find the rare situation you will more than likely not see that happen in the corporate sector. It is all dependent on the actual work that you do. You will see success in your opportunity when you place time and energy into it. Just by getting a position in the pyramid structure will note mean you make any mean. Money will follow hard work and dedication.

You will also need to evaluate the products that you will be selling. For any real opportunity to exist, there needs to be a product or service that you are selling since that is what you will be receiving a commission from. If you come accross something that you get a commission just because someone joins, then that might be a scam. A real product or service that contains value must exist. You may encounter some things that would appear to have something to sell; however, if that product is not able to sell without having to present the ability to make money you might be looking at a scam.

It will be important for you to be able to analyze any potential opportunity before you jump in to be able to determind whether or not it is a legitimate MLM opportunity or some pyramid scheme that is a scam. You definately do not want to get into anything that is illegal.
