How much fat must one consume in order to properly absorb fat-soluble vitamins?

Question by yellowhummin217: How much fat must one consume in order to properly absorb fat-soluble vitamins?
All multivitamins say something like, “Take after a meal,” because, I suppose, one must have consumed some fat in order to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins. How much fat is enough fat for this to properly occur?

Just take it with any meal like breakfast, lunch or dinner. I made the mistake of taking a multi-vitamin without eating anything and it made me so sick to my stomach and vomitting. I think thats why they suggest taking it with food. The same thing happened to my mom when she didn’t take it with food.
