Question by lilyhot88: explanation of this quote?
To regret one’s own experiences is to arrest one’s own development. To deny one’s own experiences is to put a lie into the lips of one’s own life. It is no less than a denial of the soul

It’s not in your best interest to be a spectator in your own life rather than a participant. Therefore, to have experiences from which you can learn, and yet to regret them (rather than to learn from them) is to arrest (prevent from growing) your own development.
To deny one’s own experiences (pretend they didn’t occur) it to live a lie. It suppresses and inhibits your spirit and shuts down personal growth.
