i lost my prepaid virgin mobile phone, i had around $ 40 in my account there, if i get a new virgin mobile phone is there anyway i can transfer my money from my old account in the phone that i lost?

yeah just go to virgin mobile.com and to your account then go to to where it said swap phone and put the esn of the new phone
