ingredients:
1¼ pounds (560g) Ground beef
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon Ginger, Grated
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup (50g) Brown sugar
1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
4-6 cups cooked rice
4-5 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Make the sauce: in a bowl mix brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper and red chili flakes. set aside.
2. In a large skillet heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic, cook for 1 minute. Increase to high heat, add the ground beef and cook, breaking it into crumbles, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
3. Pour the sauce over the ground beef, add 1/2 of the chopped green onions and let simmer, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes.
4. Serve with hot rice and garnish with green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

GOULASH
1 LB. lean ground meat
1 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 (15 OZ.) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 OZ.) can tomato sauce
3 tablespoon tomato paste
1-1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoons Paprike
2 teaspoon kosher salt
Pinch Crushed Red Pepper
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup (wheat or white) pasta
Colby Jack shredded cheese for topping GOULASH, optional
1. In a 5-6 quart Dutch oven, or heavy sauce, over medium heat, add ground beef. Cook until meat is lightly brown with a little pink still showing.
2. Add onions & green bell pepper. Cook until onions are translucence.
3. Add garlic. Cook 1 minute.
4. Add oregano, paprika, bay leaf, salt, and crushed red pepper. Stir well.
5. Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomate paste, and water. Stir well. Bring to a boil. Cover. Cook 15 minutes.
6. Stir in pasta (make sure the tomato sauce is bubbling, before adding the pasta). Cover. Cook pasta according to package directions.
7. Let GOULASH rest for 10 minutes before serving.
TIPS: Store GOULASH in refrigerator, in an airtight container, up to 3 days!!
